Clarke grew up in Coquitlam, British Columbia where he played youth soccer with Coquitlam Metro-Ford SC winning three provincial and two Canadian National championships. Clarke attended Centennial School, and after graduating in 1996, attended Simon Fraser University where he played on the men’s soccer team for one year. He left college to pursue a professional career abroad but has since graduated from SFU with a degree in Criminology.  In 1997, Clarke signed with the Vancouver 86ers, becoming the team’s starting sweeper. After one season in Vancouver, Clarke decided to move to Europe and joined League of Ireland club St. Patrick’s Athletic F.C..In his two seasons at St. Pats he won the league championship twice and played in the UEFA Championships and then in 2002 joined the Vancouver Whitecaps. As team captain, he helped the Whitecaps capture USL First Division Championships but later left the team in December 2008. Jeff during his career played in the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Japan,and also played at the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship in Malaysia, again with Stalteri and Bent. He made his senior debut for Canada in an August 1997 friendly match against China and earned a total of 19 International caps, He has represented Canada in 2 FIFA World Cup qualification matches and in 2000 was part of Canada’s squad that won their first 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup. In 2000, he was the captain of the Canadian Olympic side as it attempted, but failed to qualify for the 2000 Summer Olympics and  his final international was in May 2002 against Switzerland.

Rob was a former Celtic FC youth player and then played professionally with both St. Mirren and Arbroath in Scotland. He then started coaching with Celtic in their youth development program and emigrated to Canada in 2003. Since that time, Rob has been extensively involved as part of our Surrey United coaching staff.

Scott has been coaching in Surrey and involved in grassroots development for 10+ years.  As a Head Coach, in recent years he has guided both boys and girls teams to Coastal Cup and Provincial Cup Finals as well as back-to-back BC Summer Games gold medals.  Scott is currently Staff Head Coach with Guildford Athletic Club and working towards his ‘B’ National License.

Nick’s playing career included 5 year CIS career at Trinity Western University that saw him win player of the year honours in 2007 and representing his country at the Junior and University levels. He also had a professional experience playing with Chamois Niortais in the French second Division. Nick is looking to bring to Surrey United considerable coaching expertise from his experience as an assistant to Mike Mosher with the UBC Thunderbirds and also coaching in the Vancouver community (Douglas Park) over the last 3 years. He is working towards obtaining his CSA A-licence which will fully complement his BA in Human Kinetics.


Kim McMullen

CCC, CCY & CCS

In 2010 Kim played for the Quebec City Amiral in the W-League and in 2009 played for the Whitecaps FC Women’s team. Prior to that she played for the Hampton Roads Piranhas Virginia Beach team also in the W-League. She was a stand-out at Eastern Washington University and after graduation in 2008 she was inducted into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame for her soccer achievements. Kim now plays for the Surrey United Women’s Premier Team and is also a top staff coach with the Surrey United Development Programs. Kim is persuing her “B” licence.
