2012 Spring Break Camp
Elite Soccer Programs will be offering a spring break soccer camp from March 19-March 23, 2012 for all interested soccer players including goalkeepers. There will be an increased focus on attacking drills and sequences, which are very fun and will benefit all players’ offensive and attacking capabilities. The training that the participants receive will further prepare them for the upcoming team evaluations. The 3-hour-a-day camp is open to boys and girls born in 1998 – 2005.
Lil’ Kickers Program:
ELITE has added a new Lil’ Kickers program for soccer players in the 2006-2007 birth year. This program is designed for players who are looking to test out the game of soccer or who are new to the game. The basic fundamentals of soccer are taught will a high emphasis on fun and the enjoyment of the game. This has been very popular program for Surrey United and ELITE is happy to be offering it in the Spring Break Camp. See more details below.
Goalkeeper training:
There will be goalkeeper training program for ‘keepers born 1998-2003. Players will be grouped by age and ability. This training program runs 10am-12pm each day and will teach all of the skills required of the specialized goalkeeper position including diving, distribution, punting, shot stopping, 1v1, etc.

The head coach of this program is Jeff Clarke, Surrey United Technical Director, and the coaching staff will consist of members of the Surrey United BCSPL teams and Technical Staff including Scott Howey (U14 BCSPL head coach, CSA B National License), Scott Hyams (U15 BCSPL head coach, GAC head coach), Katie Thorlakson (Ex-Whitecaps FC and Canadian National Team stand out, 2004 NCAA National PLayer of the Year), Rae Pelat (Whitecaps Women’s team 2009/2010, captain of Surrey United Women’s Premier Team), and many other quality instructors.
